TAMA UNIVERSITY

Devanshe Chauhan has a Masters in English Literature, a B’Ed teaching degree and a TEFL international certificate. She also holds a post graduate diploma in advertising, marketing and public relations. Before coming to Japan in 2007, she taught English Literature, English Language and Social Science to High School children in India for 9 years. In Japan she started her teaching career in Shikoku with a Language Company, where she taught General English Communication, Business English and TOEIC classes to corporate clients as well as English at a Japanese High School. Later, she got a University job and she moved to Kanagawa.
Ms. Chauhan is a member of the Asiatic Society of Japan. She enjoys teaching and interacting with students. She is a passionate reader, loves poetry, mountains and quiet little towns & villages, enjoys cooking, solving crosswords, logic puzzles and the Sudoku.
