Founded in 1989, Tama University currently serves over 2,000 students and spans three campuses in the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area, comprising two schools of undergraduate study and a graduate school. The School of Management and Information Sciences, a faculty offering both undergraduate and graduate courses of study, is located on the main campus in Tama City, Tokyo, and the Shinagawa Satellite, Tokyo. The Shonan Campus in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture is home to the School of Global Studies. SGS is academic home to one-third of the student body.
