Course Description / 講義の概要
In this course, students focus on Nagasaki, which is one of the Atomic-bombed Area, study the following three points:
1. How Nagasaki accomplished the reconstruction from desperate ruin.
2. A-bombing experiences and inheritance of the experiences
3. Peace keeping
In concrete, we will discuss the a-bombed cities from various perspectives. Besides, we will hear testimonies from Hibakusha and engage activities to hand down their experience.本ゼミでは、原子爆弾の被爆地、とりわけ長崎について、以下の3点について学びます。
①長崎がどのように復興を遂げたのか
②被爆体験と継承活動
③平和について
具体的には、学術書や被爆体験の証言集等の文献を皆で読み込み、報告し、議論していきます。そして、被爆体験の聴講や、被爆者の証言を継承する活動に関わり、実践的に学びます。Aspiration / ゼミの「志」
I expect students will gain basic knowledge and skills to discuss tourism in the a-bombed cities from various perspectives. To achieve this goal, students will learn interdisciplinary research findings, history and a-bomb experiences of Hiroshima,and inheritance of these experiences.
被爆都市の観光を取り扱うにあたり、多面的に検討するための基礎的な知識を習得し、当該の内容について議論する能力を獲得することを目標とします。この目標達成までの過程において受講生は、近年の学際的な成果、及び、長崎の歴史と被爆体験、そして継承について学んでほしいです。
Additional Information/留意事項
観光関連の基礎科目の事前履修（特に「ヒロシマ・ナガサキと観光」の講義）をお勧めします。
