Financial Aid
Tuition reduction for Int’l students
SGS provides a 30% tuition discount of 270,000 JPY (yearly) to students on ryugaku international student visas who are: enrolled in a degree seeking program at Tama SGS, show a need for financial support, and are determined to be in good standing academically.
In general students are determined to show a need for financial support if they meet at least one (1) of the following conditions:
- The students monthly housing expenses are less than 80,000yen.
- The total combined amount of money received from supporters, wages, or other sources for living expenses is lower than 90,000yen per month.
- The annual income of your supporters in Japan is less than 5 million yen.
- Students who can be judged not too be economically well-off.
Incoming students must pay all tuition and fees before beginning the semester and will apply for the discount upon entrance.
*Note:For incoming students the discount cannot be taken directly from the tuition bill for the first semester.
Scholarships
Students with outstanding academic records may also be eligible for scholarships for academic achievement at the time of their admission.
